Dear Game On! Families, Friends and Supporters:

Starting way back when—and continuing through today—sports and fitness have played such an integral part in my life. Whether recreational or competitive, my experiences have been fun, formative, and life-changing. While my parents deserve significant credit, sports truly helped define me as a person.

Game On! Sports Camps 4 Girls is our way of giving back—passing on a gift that has unlimited layers of wrapping, each one unveiling something special: confidence, belonging, resilience, friendship, leadership, joy.

Our team’s work toward bringing quality sports opportunities and experiences to young female athletes—spanning all levels—produces the sweat, the smiles and laughter, the memories and friendships, the achievements and challenges, and the personal growth that girls deserve.

That spirit is exactly why I’m so proud to see Game On! expanding to Boise.

My name is Angela Taylor, and our Boise camps are powered by iWIN Sports (Idaho Women & Girls in Sports)—a Taylor LEAD Foundation program built to help girls find their place in sport and stay in the game long enough to grow into the leaders we know they are.

For our family, this work is personal. It’s rooted in the example set by our parents, Alice and Charles Taylor, who believed deeply in opening doors for young people and making sure kids had real opportunities to discover what they’re capable of.

And it’s carried forward by our family—especially alongside my brother Gary, whose perspective has helped shape how we think about sports as more than “an activity.” Gary will tell you: sports teach you how to work, how to recover, how to lead, how to be coached, how to coach others, and how to keep showing up when things get hard. He’s also clear about something that too many communities still get wrong—girls deserve those same lessons and that same investment. Not someday. Now. Because when girls have consistent access to sport, they don’t just become better athletes—they build confidence, voice, and leadership that carries into classrooms, friendships, and future careers.

That’s what we’re building through iWIN Sports and Game On! Sports Camps 4 Girls – Boise: more access, more visibility, more leadership pathways—and more moments where a girl realizes, “I belong here.”

We’re honored to bring Game On! to the Treasure Valley with the same heart and standards that built the program from the beginning with Game On! Chicago by Barb Lazarus—and to wrap it in the local love, community, and momentum that makes Boise special. Our hope is simple: that every girl who steps into camp leaves a little stronger… and a lot more sure of herself.

Thank you to the families who trust us, to the incredible staff who make these experiences what they are, and to every camper—past, present, and future—who shows up ready to play, learn, and lead.

Game On! is a labor of love. A dream come true.

With gratitude,
Angela Taylor
